I hate sore throats.

Sure, they're annoying, sure, they make it hard to eat or talk or swallow or breathe. But you know why I hate them more than anything? They affect my ability to sing. There's nothing like getting a sore throat RIGHT BEFORE a whole bunch of solo auditions D: Like, ie, tomorrow

I guess it could be worse. Like, I could have H1N1. ...But I had that last month. And I did miss some solos. Whoops. My best friend slept over the night before my first Avance performance and he woke up the next morning sick. So we took him home and then I went and performed. Then I woke up the next morning sick as well. The Ooman (my brother) got the symptoms later in the day. I was better afte a week but it felt like forever and it was miserable. But it's not deadly. I just took tylenol and had a heating pad for my back and slept and drank a lot of water and ate a lot of peanut buttered toast. It's not that bad, really. It sure as hell won't kill you unless you get pnemonia. And then you get to be immune to it until the virus mutates again yay!

My computer's been out of commision for a long time now. Since my birthday. Which was in August. I'm getting to the point where I'll spend my own god dammned money to get the stupid thing fixed because this is absolutely ridiculous. It's freaking December! ...Or, it will be in a couple of hours. But seriously! I've been asked to do some things for a recital later in the month and no other computer in my family has the same programs mine does for it. Let alone the fact EVERYTHING is on there. It's infuriating. Especially since my Dad's been coming up with every excuse to not do anything about it since he can't fix it himself. It makes me want to take a bat to his computer and short a few wires out and see how he likes it.

While I'm mad, I might as well throw some energy into being mad at my Sacred Stones game. I finally got a new copy since my old cartirage was broken and I can't get to my emulators (because they're on my computer) so I've been playing an actual copy. I took Erikia's route (because then I get to go to Jehenna) and I got to chapter 10, where you save Innes and Gerik and Tethys. I'd cleared almost the ENTIRE battle, stole everything I could, raised everyone's levels a bunch of times, maxed stats, raised supports, etc. etc. So I went to assult the boss--the last unit on the map--with Joshua--my best unit--and I was basically guaranteed success with a little help from Tethys--AND THEN THAT IDIOT PABLO KILLED MY PRECIOUS MYRMIDON OH I WAS PIIIIIISSED. The RNG Goddess is cruel. All because of that stupid critical. DAMMIT.

GROWL. I need a tissue. I'm all congested. Bleh.

My Dad's now watching this show thing and there's this barber shop quartet on TV singing and one guy has a crazy falsetto. My Dad's like "Omg look at this listen to that dude's voice!" And I'm like "Yeah, yeah," when I'm really like, "You do know my best friend has a falsetto like that too, yeah? It's nothing new to me, silly. And Matt Bellamy has a falsetto like that as well. So meh."

From sore throats to falsettos. Me and my voice. I'm such a whiner.
